A DEC who's brand-new to 121 can be in over his head, hopefully the FO is on top of things.

Exclamation

MOD INPUT: Please don't post that letter here, that's a little too much info for a public forum.

Exactly. It’s public knowledge and no one could be liable at airline pilot forums. In comes the bureaucrats in the background?
So if not the letter can I share quotes from it? Where is the line? Is it helping our industry to keep silent about things like this?

if anyone needs the letter or incident report pm me an email address.

Your union asked me to remove it, and I probably would have done that anyway. Personally if it was my airline I wouldn't post something like that in 100% public forum. If you really want to share with your pilot group, do that on a more private forum.

I don't care if you share general descriptions of the incidents, that can be informative to anyone. But the letter had partial dates, that's TMI.

But I'd suggest you maybe talk to your union rep first.

Envoys union leadership is nothing but self-serving sycophants.

I think that is harsh. It is my understanding most of the pilot group has been fairly happy with him and the team in Dallas. Wont matter much anyway, I suspect a changing of the guards in the next short while.

Personally I like TC, much better than what we had before.
