If I was a betting man, I would say ORD. Another post mentioned PDT trying to take the flying, but will likely just be absorbed by SKW, RPA and Envoy 175.

Does this mean we can glue 175 paper tiger overlays on the old 145 mock ups in the hotel study room?

According to a recent town hall Piedmont will retain 50 jets for the foreseeable future. We have about 67 lines in CLT, 70 in PHL, and 12 in MDT for June and July with slightly less forecasted in August.

Between hiring and attrition we appear to be losing about 1% of total pilots per month. Around 650 on the list.

Any news beyond that is speculation since AA doesn’t share more than 60-90 days with Piedmont management.

The post was intended to poke fun at the fact the AA CEO apparently can't figure out how many planes he's parked. If 100 planes were already parked that would be basically the entire Envoy and Piedmont 145 fleets. Obviously they are all still flying, with Envoy's 145s planned to be parked, which is about 50 planes still.

Those 100 planes include CRJ 200s from PSA and every 140 that has been parked as well as the 145s that WILL be parked.

You have to take some literary license as well as round numbers up if you want a headline that shocks and a story that sells.

Apparently just like he is telling share holders negotiations with AA’s pilots are going well.

he’s probably including contractors planes parked too. They usually did in the past.
