Trip Trading
Hi, new guy here waiting for training, been talking with a friend (who flies for another airline) about Envoy. He mentioned that Envoy has a great trip trading setup. Was curious as to how that all works. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

He might be thinking of pre-COVID when we had Quicktrade.

you can trade trips if you are a lone holder, it’s just NOT user friendly at all. They can steal your trips too and get away with it if you’re not careful.

The challenge with our trip trade system is the staffing metrics used to determine if a trade is legal or not.
If staffing is deemed worse on the days you are trying to trade into it won't allow the trade. The N4TL code shows what all are legal trades with the trip you are trying to remove. Even if there are tons of open trips on the days you are trying to trade into if staffing is worse by one person you can't have it.
You also can't trade down the number of works days. So 4 day trips and only legal to be traded with a 4 day trip. You can always trade up. 2 day for a 3 or 4 day etc.
If you don't close out your trip trading program when you are finished by typing in HIN sneaky, unscrupulous, unethical Co workers can, have and will force trade with you, without your authorization. The company says by you leaving trip trading open you authorized it and won't pursue the thieves.
