Sent a PM to all of you. Just a heads up, I did speak with one of the class prep recruiters when I was in there the other day doing fingerprints and they're currently only onboarding cadet instructors. With the holidays, they haven't been doing any interviews or anything. Currently the next orientation is 1/18/24 with the next in February. Orientations are only ran once a month.

Envoy has a tendency to prioritize onboarding DECs and cadets. Off the street FO hires are most likely slotted in on a space available basis about two weeks prior to each Indoc date. If you can take less than two weeks notice, you could volunteer to fill in for last minute cancellations. I am a DEC who started last March, this is just my observation.

interviewed 10/30. Got pre-approved letter.

I did not get any response for 2 months. Yes, I called the general recruiter phone number once a week to see if I passed captain review board. They did not have the answer.
I emailed the the general recruiter email provided by liquefaction on first week of January 2024. I needed to check general timeline since my flight safety will be due next month.
Then I got a call next day. They asked if I can hop in the 1/18 orientation. They needed the answer immediately.
Great appreciate for everyone's help.

I am not cadet nor DEC.

Any updates on this? What is the timeframe from interviewing/offer to orientation? Is orientation where you start getting paid and are an employee or is that not until Indoc? Envoy is really where I'd want to end up and my interview is soon but classdates are so hard to come by these days and I have 3 coming up in March.

In Orientation they put you on the payroll and you can sign up for travel and medical benefits. They give you a study guide and ask you to learn it before Indoc when you get your IPad and company ID.

A new hire FO I flew with the other day said she was called for a Republic ground school right after they implemented the new contract. He declined an applied to Envoy and was called for an interview in a week and hired. He made it sound like the training went fairly quickly. These things vary so someone else probably has more recent information.
