Are you a cadet / FO / DEC?

Wonder if class sizes are getting larger due to more aircraft coming in?

 

I am an off the street FO hire. Not a Cadet, or DEC. 1600 hour CFI with no turbine time.

 

For how long was your airline apps published until they contacted you?

 

I also have the 04/11 start date, I applied for envoy end of November around the 22nd, Got called for an Interview end of January, Interviewed mid February, and was called for Orientation on 4/11 a few days ago. Hope this helps!

 

I first applied August 2023 with 1300TT. Got an auto email saying to update my apps at mins a few days later. Hit 1500 and 25 multi October 2023. Updated my app weekly from that point on. Got an invite to interview first week of Feb 2024. So my app sat there for awhile. I have coworkers who had luck emailing Envoy recruiting kindly asking for an interview. We are all 1500 hour CFIs with no turbine time.

Envoy supposedly has their CA/FO imbalance issues solved. They are FO hungry for the first time in awhile. Recruiters were claiming 2 Indoc classes a month with 75+ FOs. Those are late 2021/2019 numbers. I heard horror stories of the Review Board taking months, but I was approved in about 2 weeks. Good luck. I'm excited to start.

I have a class date at another AA WO, but it has been pushed 3 times. I'd rather be at Envoy anyways.

 

Is it possible envoy will be keeping up this FO hiring for at least the next two or three months? Im less than a month from mins and I was hoping to get an interview with them.

 

I can't even apply for the FO position on Airline Apps. The only option is to apply as a cadet but I have my 1,500 hours already.
