A week ago a new hire class was awarded:

DFW - 3
MIA - 13
ORD - 4
PHX - 8

Your class will bid on available bases from most senior (cadets by date of hire, then pilots with Part 121 hours highest to lowest if any) to most junior (off the street hires from oldest to youngest). Sometimes they award whole classes to ORD as it’s the most junior base. If you don’t get your base of choice on day 1, you will most likely get awarded it within 3 months at the next quarterly bid award.

Interviewed this week.

I gathered from people already in class that some got call within 2-3 weeks for a class date.

Also note the captain’s review board is happening every Thursday, every two weeks (as shared by Envoy’s team). Next one would be on 7/17.

Q: After the “Pre-Offer” at the interview, how long is it taking for you to receive the official CJO? Background check and everything else completed…

It depends on their backlog of applicants, how quick you return paperwork, and how often they do Captain review boards. For me, it was 2 months and 3 weeks from interview to class up. Was at the interview a month after applying. And that was this year.

Still have yet to receive any further communication for July 25th class, starting to get nervous — any advice?

I got my travel stuff about a week or 4-5 days prior. They kinda wait until the last minute. I'd wait and see if they send stuff tomorrow, they typically don't send stuff out on weekends.

You should hear something tomorrow. They normally send stuff out a week prior.

Any idea when they’ll start giving out September FO training dates?

They usually give a months notice

I’ve known several people that interviewed and received more than 4 weeks notice so what would be preventing them from giving out September dates now to people who have already interviewed and are waiting?
