Cradle to grave, best travel benefits in the industry while you build the hours. I wish I had this when I was a flight instructor. One interview as a new CFI gets you all the way to the biggest most profitable airline in the world.

Because they couldn't continue their friends and family plan with no street hires.
You guys have a lot of catch up work to do learning about AA managers. Just like we had catch up to do on learing about Parker, Kirby, Isom and crew. Many managers at all levels of AA are not fans of the regionals or the flow thru programs. At one point in the endless litigations over the flow thru programs under AMR/AA they actually had to go hire a mediation company to mediate fighting between different AA managers within their own airline. It wasn't a case of APA-ALPA-AA-AMR fighting... it was the AA groups fighting among themelves at that point. Training fighting with HR and stuff like that. You guys have a lot of catch up learning to do. The "street hiring" that has occurred since AA began hiring recently has borne zero resemblance to past history's "friends and family plan" under an old chief pilot. There has been a mix of military, regional pilots from other regionals (including Envoy), a few corporate pilots and some interns. The process was and is set up to ensure no nepotism and what you're representing here in this post is gross misinformation. The previous multitude of grievances and arbitrations under the old Letter 3 flow that has concluded bear zero relationship to what is happening now or in the future. Just how far are you willing to go to promote your agenda on this forum ? It seems nothing is out-of-bounds in your jihad to sucker throngs of saps to Envoy. |

Yup........it's all blue skies and tailwinds. Nothing can go wrong from here and it's a path set in stone. [sarc] Haven't seen the "cradle" announcement yet though, so I think you've got too much of a sugar buzz from Cujo665's cotton candy. BTW, "profitable" for shareholders and management (at least for now), but not so much for pilots compared to Delta and soon United. Both those pilot groups are projected (hey, if Wilson can, I can too !) to spring WELL ahead of AA pilots in the total compensation package dept.

Precisely.
There are 47 CRJ700's. We are going to take 17 of them through November when our 900's restart. The remaining 30 restart after the 900's in August 2016. This is as of February this year so not new news per say. Also, for the rest of you there has been no slowdown. The only change was to accommodate the 24 CRJ-900 deliveries. |
