Bingo! This is exactly what I said. I believe this is the MEC's way of putting the ball in AA's court. They are smart and know what they are doing. Starting with Sprague.

AA hasn't even been able to place any E-175s with anybody else yet. They need Envoy more than ever and our Union knows this. It's all part of the game.

We have 220 airplanes, even with a five year draw down, this industry will allow most who want out that option to mainline airlines. Hiring will be massive the next decade at LLC majors and cargo majors.

Stop trolling kid.

Hopefully most pilots will be able to find jobs at the majors or corporate. My guess though is that a good number of those furloughed are going to follow those CRJ, or seek positions with other regionals, especially the ones expanding and promoting quick upgrades, probably even PSA. AAG knows this which is why they have know problem shifting the CRJ's and awarding the flying to other companies.

Well I guess we will find out within the next two weeks if they announced where those 40 175's are going... just because they haven't announced it yet doesn't mean they haven't been able to place them. Things take time.

This is a friggin call to,arms guys, the leader is blowing the trumpet. He's begging us to do it now at 220 airframes. Go find a job at something not a regional so many are hiring, and do not one single thing that could jeopardize your ticket up till you leave!!!

…says the 2 post wonder. Emotional folks - you need to find a new profession. While you research that new profession, go back to the junior high school locker room, because that's what you all sound like. If you are so easily beaten down by management threats, just save yourself the stress and find a nice, stable position at McDonalds.

No just a dose of reality. Stop being in denial. You have to learn from the past. We have to realize what we made. It was are choice. It is like the choice between a turd and a $hit sandwich. But I would rather leave on my terms not there's or yours. Standing up for principles is a good thing, it just has it's price. My question is was it worth it?
