New York Envoy ops to close

We had heard rumors about 3 months ago about new york closing September/October timeline Its now official from our company president. From 7 bases and 3300 pilots to 2 bases and 1900 pilots

I don't think new york is going anywhere. I think you guys are vacating New York, but New York is there to stay. Titles a little misleading.

For which regional?

Okay, let's play "what airline does this guy work for"

EjetTaxi 02-18-2015 03:11 PM

title change... got it. Is there going to be a furlough?

N927EV 02-18-2015 03:16 PM

Well, not yet. It mostly depends on where the e-jets will go. The company is still trying to make up their mind on that. Also, they're not sure which base they'll pull the first 19 CRJs from that are going to brown streak.
No talk of furloughs yet. Just talk of displacements.

Didn't you just vote in a concessionary contract after voting no twice before? How does that differ from PSA who voted in a contract after voting no twice before?

Oh wait, they didn't burn themselves at the stake for your benefit. Gotcha.

You're an idiot. When did I mention anything about their vote?

When Brownstreak voted in concessions, they knew they were doing it at the expense of another pilot group. Eagle tried to hold the line, and PSA undercut them. Wasn't the first time PSA has done this to another pilot group. That's the difference.
