There's probably 75 pilots on property right now that were also here during that......out of nearly 1200.

We had the 2 big regionals taking a stand (eagle and Xjet)...in a time where pilots finally have leverage. No more concessions. The other regionals just had to follow suit, and the industry would have to be changing for the better. Republic couldn't even staff it if they wanted to. Mesa could not staff ALL the airplanes they have been getting. PSA, you are what you are. Stop making excuses. I'm sick of hearing them.

"No one can staff" has been proven to be completely false.

Please explain why we had leverage.

Everybody is having staffing issues now. The regionals are just starting to run out of pilots. It will only get worse. Flying will have to be switched back to mainline...as it should. The pendulum has already started to swing. PSA just did what was best for them...not what was best for all of us. Just own it, and stop making excuses.

Team Bill and Gardner led this pilot group to this.

Where are both of them now?

Goodluck!

The regionals offering good opportunity right now ARE NOT having trouble staffing. TSA, PDT, Compass, PSA, even Mesa are filling classes with no problem.

The places that are dead ends at this point are having issues. Eagle, RAH, XJT.

There are no excuses in this post. Only facts.

Also, you didn't explain where our "leverage" came from.....Please enlighten.

True all of them getting most people from other part 121 carriers. But hey pilots are so stupid they believe in promises from those places.

What's the percentage of no part 121 pilots going into those carriers right now?

What we are seeing is a recycle of pilots moving from one place to another.

And damnnnn it's cold outside today. Clearly that's the fault of PSA pilots. I hope they don't come on here and make excuses about why they made it so cold ....at the expense of other pilots.

Let PSA have their circle jerk...they're the only ones who don't believe they did anything wrong. Everyone else in the industry looks down upon them. Now THAT is a crappy way to start out your career.
