The good news, vs. in 2008 when it happened to me, is you can leave and become a CA practically overnight at various other carriers.

You guys have options, execute them. Cut the "falling on the sword" crap, nobody gives a ####.

I was downgraded for a couple years, many were furloughed.

Do you honestly think Parker will allow Envoy to give it's pilots 20k in retention when they wouldn't even give FO's 10k to vote in the contract? They only gave FO's 7.5 and Captains 12.5. How could they be any more cheap?

They were originally going to give us $1500.00!

I hate seeing L-Eagle go right down the toilet, but it's what management has wanted all along. They want the senior folk making $$$$ gone as of yesterday. Easiest way to do it? Shut er down.

It's hard to bail when you can hold the left seat on paper, but can never seem to make it to class. I'm one of those 07 DOH who has been stuck right in the middle.

Like voting no would had made any different. Oh yeah...more a more planes for Compass, RAH, MESA, PSA, TSA.

CA and FOs got some cash, and we gave them what they wanted. A deal similar to Endeavour and PSA, well...guess what? Now is their turn to fix what we told them it wasn't going to work.

LOA is on the table for OT premiums and Hotels if you lose your overnight in base.

Now if they implement retention bonuses why bail? New planes are coming anyway, it's just a matter of time.

What a hoot! New planes are coming!

Just to be clear- it's less than the number of CRJs that are leaving, and now let's talk about the decreasing EMB fleet.

At the rate they're adding CRJ 900s to the other carriers, there won't be any room in APA's scope for any more than our allotted 40 E175s so we won't need all the pilots we have now.

They don't want us to stay, they just don't want us to shrink so quickly. It's all about them, remember?

Buyouts for senior pilots ?

Interesting. I wonder if RJ Pilot would consider such a deal ?

Then he really could go out and maybe get a GV job, but it certainly won't have a $250,000 starting salary.

No such rumor. No buyouts.

There was a "What would help solve Envoy's problems?" thread elsewhere. Buyouts were a suggestion.

Nice job, whoever converted a discussion into a rumor.
