hope that works out, AA has a tendency to change the rules in the middle of the game. They want flow because AA knows it's getting harder and harder to find pilots and is concerned in the next few years AA and every other is major is going to have and issue with hiring pilots.

Friend of mine has close to two years seniority at AA. He's 40% up the S80 list holding partial weekends off, 3 day trips, making more than he did when he left Eagle.
Good Luck! |

Tell us more about life over at AA. I'm sure some of your buds are over there. Tell us more about what will happen to QOL on each fleet type. Can we call you the Oracle now that you have stopped calling Cujo that?

QOL on narrow body reserve isn't bad at all. I've had more time off or sat at home more than any of the reserve time spent at MQ. But I also live 8 miles from DFW.

The consensus from all I've spoken with is that the worst day on reserve at AA, is still better than the best day at EagleVoy.

Not enough lifers getting out of your way?
Good Luck! First off, the more of those "lifers" as you call them that do not go would mean I'd go sooner. So, since I just repeated how much happier people are over at AA I actually am not helping myself in any way. Second, I am passing along accurate info from those who have transferred, so others may make an informed choice. More senior guys deciding to change their mind doesn't help me go sooner. It's doing my job to get them accurate information, even when it isn't in my personal best interest. Third, I don't need advice from a guy that flys into closed airports |
Someone ate one too many hot dogs at yesterday's game.
