If you're not hating, you're a salesman. If you have tempered hope for the future, you're drinking the koolaid. If you don't maintain unreasonable hate for everything Envoy, you're blind.

Everything's "If you're not with us, you're against us" with you and your pal. Such a black and white world you live in. No room for grey. No room for nuance. Must be so stressful to constantly have to maintain that level of rage. Doc got you on blood pressure meds yet?

My perceptions of what is happening at the company are based on reality. There's no rage with me. It's either black or white. No shades of gray. Give the company a break (shade of gray) and they will quickly turn that into black.

Reading the other two Envoy forums accurately reflect what's happening here at the company. On here though, it's obvious there are management plants that are directed to paint Envoy in the most positive light. Even in the Major threads, there is nowhere near the rah rah cheering for the company as there is here.

It's obvious that you are on the cheering squad. The question is, are you a company management plant?

Its because I wasn't talking to an internet troll that doesn't even work for the company or a bitter old man.

Do you mean, like a Piedmont plant?

I'm not on the "cheering squad" as you call it. I try to be honest about the company's abuses, of which there are many, as well as the positives of working here, of which there are a few. You, however, are clearly not being honest, you clearly have an agenda to push other than telling the truth, and you are rude and insulting about it.

You admit that you don't care if people believe what you post here. Then why do you do it? Pointless trolling really makes you look pathetic.

Personally, I think anyone looking to enter the 121 world today should be thinking more long term. As much as the reserve system will affect someone's life now, in 20 years, while flying wide body international flights on the 777, I don't think someone will remember their life on reserve at whatever regional. One has to balance between pay and qol life now with whatever course they feel will get them to a mainline seniority list the quickest (and with varying degrees of certainty).

Will envoy honor the flow or stop? Will RAH declare bankruptcy or shrink? Will Mesa still be able to attract new hires without increasing compensation? Will Commutair be bought by another carrier? In the end, I think one can only make an educated guess and hope for the best. If you would have told me years ago that TWA would be out of business, US Air would merge with AA, that AirTran would one day be Southwest and that a Colgan pilot would one day "flow" to Delta, I would have never believed it. Crazy Industry.
I agree for the most part. It's just the constant reserve contract violations that continue to this day. Our reserve language may seem pretty regulated, but they avoid that problem by not following the language.

I have been giving Mesa serious consideration as I live in Houston. If you have anymore info on mesa, base upgrades, open times, any info would be appreciated.

What do you think about Envoy now Fina?

Seriously, trying to pick between Envoy and Mesa is kind of like deciding if you'd rather have Charles Manson or John Wayne Gacy as a roomate.
