With most other places paying $37-40 an hour. Envoy is gonna have to pony up more money, to attract talent. $26 an hour ain't gonna cut it, even with bonuses.

But most others don't have a flow. That makes up for the poor pay. Being owned by AAG means everything!

Seriously. What kind of idiots are running this ship? We had around 3400 pilots just a few years ago - circa late 2013. Now we have 1800 pilots. 462 have flowed according to a recent Union email. Where did the other 1200 pilots go? Oh that's right. You morons ran them off. Now all of a sudden you need to make robo calls, a clear sign of extreme desperation. Sad. I know you want a piece of the RAH pie, but maybe you should have thought that through before? You know, when anyone with a 5th grade math education had the ability to see the impending pilot shortage. Oh you were too busy fighting the pilots over a few cents per air mile. Genius. I sure hope Jerry Gl(ass) was worth all tha money!

Not sure if I'm noting sarcasm. Anyway. That flow carrot must not be enough, if they're having less than ten people show up for classes. And they had to introduce a bonus to try to attracted talent. And apparently even that doesn't appear to be working in their favor. With their desperate reach and resorting to robo calls.

Endeavor isn't cold calling mofos.

Bring up first year pay. Don't have FO pay lock out after only four years. And get an Endeavor-like bonus system, do all this, and they will come.

Default Pay scale subsidy.

WO carriers FO pay scales are not remotely competitive. You're subsidizing your own 'bonus' with the pay gap. Typical AA, snake oil salesmanship. Time to get your checkbook out and pay flight crew like the professionals they are. I don't blame anyone for going to endeavor right now, they get it.

You mean you don't blame anyone for going to Comair Part 2 right now?

I'm sure the expenses for these robocalls aren't free, so although money isn't necessarily going to pilots, it IS being spent. I must say though, this latest move does send a rather desperate flare regarding the present situation at Envoy. Cold calling (especially impersonal robocalls) are usually a last resort of scraping the bottom of the barrel for every scrap of human flesh missed and an indication someone has run out of ideas.

You would think it would be more effective and fruitful AFTER any big bombshell announcement, not before which results in a lot of electronically slammed doors avoiding such a nuisance. Oh well.........onward and upward.

Interviewed at Eagle/Envoy in 2010 when things started picking up again. Most in my group got the conditional offer including myself. Then all of us were told 6 weeks later that we were to apply again in 6 months and that we were all turned down. Wish I could tell them that.

So, 1.5 years on reserve and only 2.5 to upgrade? How does that work? Is most of the pilot group on reserve?
