Continuing the flow even with Letter T pilots would indeed be pretty big news for those who would flow. But still, I don't see that as something tangible that would attract others. It would also mean faster contraction further impeding the almighty upgrade that pilots seem to chase the most.
Stopping the flow = bad press, continuing the flow in the face of adversity = good press.
Makes room for upgrades.
Makes ENY more attractive.
All the other carriers we hear so many bad things about are still able to attract new hires because of movement. We're still trying to pull our feet out of the mud.
No matter. I'm sure the news will be underwhelming. Well, maybe not entirely. The rumor on another thread here is a July bid for an MIA base. Great if you live there, but doesn't fix the other problems we have.

DWI Dougie in his 'you're my best buddy' crapola again. Next week it's Piedmont. everybody's gotta wonder if a lifetime under his horse5h1t is remotely worth it. If your projected flow is > 2 years, he'll find a way to screw you, count on that.

With this announcement alone AND with a 3 to 4 month halt in flows from Envoy for Letter T returnees, I would expect December would be the last class Envoy would truly be able to flow 30, if they took that many for quite some time.
If this BIG ANNOUNCEMENT is even more frames, you may even see the flow restricted starting in October/November depending upon other attrition rates and also the ability to bring new hires in. Which obviously ain't happening in the numbers you need.
Looks like the SS Envoy is taking on water fast and it's starting to sink.

Haha hey dummy where are you coming up with a 3-4 month stoppage of flow? God you're just so clueless! Any single engine approaches or at Allegiant lately?! Everytime you post it makes me laugh at your terrible career planning...and THEN coming on here to try and give career advise! Too funny!

why are they pulling 140's from the desert? Couldn't be bothered to hook up to the 145 sitting next to it and get a couple extra seats out of it? even if it's not envoy's the leasing company would probably give it to them anyway

By press, you mean forum posts? I doubt the media would care about regional pilots getting screwed.

Yes, I mean forum posts. The press isn't needed for this kind of advertising.
This and other places on the Internet is where prospective new hires get info. ENY recruiting probably has the email addresses of many flight schools and individual pilots who have expressed interest in the company.
If they incrementally keep increasing the gains available to the people looking at regionals they're going to hear MORE money, MORE new aircraft, MORE upgrades.
It works.
