Nah...I'm not excited, I don't care what the company does. Nobody knows the details of the contract or what AA wants to do. They publicly said that they want to reduce the amount of regionals that feed AA.

Why does this have to be another thread? And not a single bit of evidence or source to go with it.

Not a single ENY pilot would represent themselves as an AA pilot.
None.
And if one ever did, please point him out to the nearest AA pilot for a tune up. We don't need tools making crap like that up. Not even when we were the favored red-headed step child did we dare to imply such a thing.
Second, no ENY pilot wrote that article. AAG's planes, AAG says where they go - if it's true they are going anywhere. Let it be a wake up call to anyone out there at an operator with jets from AA, they'll use you and abuse you to get what they want from someone else, then take it all away.
Lastly, hell yes new hires care what plane they get. In the ENY thread at least three have directly asked if they'd get the 175 out of training. Those are only the ones who asked, there most likely are plenty more reading these threads with the same mindset. They do want the 175, all the other fleets are forecast to be shrinking.
None.
