If it's not before the new hire comes on property alpa should be grieving it. Takes the Association out of the bargaining process. Should be an adjustment of pay scales. Not a bonus that can be adjusted or taken away at any time. Does this invert the pay scales for second or third year guys?

You sound like someone I'd like to fly with.

Of course it's paid out before. That's how every unionized airline gets away with it.

The 135 is new and the class Monday is said to be large. I know someone in it. We will see Monday. Applications and interviews are way up.

Applications and interviews are way up indeed...that I can confirm. I don't know how many in Monday's class but I also heard it was "large".

Stay tuned for more information coming down the pike.
