The desperation in management is starting to become fully saturated. It's pretty obvious now.

I would contact HR honestly and ask amd explain your situation and see what they say. Thise folks are the ones that make those decisions on bonuses

Nope... The 2nd and 3rd pay step pilots all got the 5k signing bonus and the 20k retention bonuses as well as the 12.5k TA bonus.

For my first three and a half years I'll have received 37.5k in bonuses. I know it's not 80k like endeavor but it's 32.5k more than I expected. I don't commute, +50k for 2016 (2nd/3rd pay step), and I am home nearly every day. Even though I'm pretty junior on reserve I'm happy with my pay and QOL here.

But I wouldn't be completely trusting with them. Remember, they WANT you with the least amount of cost. I wouldn't believe them until you see it in black and white within a contract. Oh wait.....

I think it would be funny if every other regional offered a $10k bonus to all
new hires who came directly from envoy.

Sound like things really are improving at Envoy. Hope it works out for all concerned.

Now, if we could just get you guys to stick with one main company thread (like everyone else does) instead of starting new ones every time someone farts over there, we'd all be happy.

This would be a beautiful thing. Parker would have no choice but to up his ante.

And so on.

Let the bidding wars escalate!!

To be fair it's usually because the other ones have deteriorated so much that they no longer serve as a viable means of communication. And then there are the non-employees that start new threads for envoy just because they think it's funny.

Shortage = here. Now how bout raising your FO pay Envoy???? Or would that hurt the millions your CEOs and the like pocket each year?
Envoy's CEO has been begging to raise pay for quite some time now. The problem with Envoy being wholly owned by American is that nobody in Envoy management, including the President/CEO, has the keys to the piggy bank. Anything to do with an increase in pilot pay has to be approved by papa AAG. And AAG has been hoping that flow would be enough of an incentive to new hires. They're starting to realize it's not.
