Envoy recruitment question
I wanted to see if I could get some opinions/feedback from current Envoy pilots.
I washed out of Part 121 training in 2008 from another airline. My most current flying job was with ZW in 2014; I flew for them for a year, but had to resign because of some family matters. I've been out of avaition now for 2 years, but am in the process of getting current again. From what you all know/hear, would I have a fighting chance to possibly get an interview with Envoy, or am I completely wasting everyone's time? I've updated my app on Airline Apps, but I can not get a response from Envoy. I wanted to be hones about everything, so therefore I put down the past training issue in 2008. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! |
No one hear can give you that answer, (unless a recruiter is on here). I would try they are somewhat desperate. And as long as it's one fail shod be OK, but I really don't know

You did right by being honest, whatever the result. If ENY found out later it would end badly. Good luck.

Eagle used to have some rather restrictive selection criteria. I do know they have relaxed those restrictions, but I doubt anyone outside of a recruiter would know how much and they will never tell you ( liability ). One only truly fails when they stop trying. Give it your best shot.

If you can't get a bite, try and get their attention on the Envoy Recruiting Facebook page. I've seen them reply to folks asking them to look over their apps.
And like everyone else said, be honest and own your mistakes, and you should be fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
They only look back 5 years. I saw none of my training stuff from RAH or CJC when I got my report back from recently being hired at Piedmont. Tell them and I am sure they will understand, especially as desperate as most are. A few things to consider... Why did you wash out of training? Was it your first 121 gig? They will more than likely ask "are you sure you can handle the training?" Just a few things to think about. I used to help conduct interviews and you won't have to dive into every detail of why you washed out, but don't try making lame excuses either!

There's always mesa. You could be a street captain there with 1000 prior 121 time.

Have you tried giving them a call or email?

Yes, I sent them an email about a week ago. I believe the email address is [email protected] I don't have their phone # though. |
