So AAG ownes four airlines and the employees of AAG all have the same travel benefits. The 3 regionals are not contractors (there are no CPAs) they are just pawns in the AAG family. If you believe you are entitled to higher priority than other employees of AAG then you should try to negotiate it into your next contract.

Actually, AAG owns 5 airlines. Don't forget that US Airways is also a Wholly Owned subsidiary.

Does anyone know how long they take to do the background check for the pipeline position? I interviewed a month ago and haven't heard back

What day in Sept do we switch to our new AA/WO uniforms and wings ? can't found it on jetnet...

There's supposed to be a "knife edge cutover" to the new uniforms. I wouldn't worry about the date, they'll be pumping out email reminders to make sure everyone knows. Yes, it's in September some time, that's all it says in the FAQ. A lot of people haven't received their uniforms yet, including me.

September 20th. It's in an HI6 from about a week ago if you want to HI16 it.

I've only rececieved the new wings so far. Still waiting on the rest of the new uniform pieces.

So "knife edge" cut over implies on one day we wear old stuff, and next day everyone wears the new?

So I'm mid sequence and supposed to pack my new pants and wrinkle the crap out of them and when day 4 happens to be the cutover, my pants have been in my bag for four days (seeing as we don't have commutable lines anymore, we must pack and commute day prior) so I'm supposed to look professional with horribly wrinkled pants on day 4?

Just do a week roll over. I'm really excited about these new uniforms, they appear to actually be quality. So I don't want to ruin the appearance by having wrinkly crap because I'm stuck in the Wyndgate in xna for only 10 hours.

Yeah, not gonna carry two uniforms. If it happens on a trip it'll have to wait until I get home before I make the switch. I'd like to think they'll engage in some common sense and do it that way.
