Due to the current hiring environment, and wanting to cram more into less, they have combined the test and technical into one quick event called a "test-nical." I caution all the prospective new hires to treat their "test-nicals" with extreme care. Some of the interviewers may come down on you pretty hard, but try not to cave under the pressure. Know your limits, use good judgement, and hang loose. Good luck!

For a current Part 121 pilot, the interview is strictly HR only.

But you can bid for the open flying the day before and it's awarded in seniority order. And you can see on the list who is next to be called, so I guess start driving when it gets close.
