The funny thing about the 175 is the automation makes it very video game like. The older you are the less capable you are at playing video games. People keep washing out of training and getting let go. I am sure age is a contributing factor. It's not going to change but it keeps opening up spots for new hires as 15% to 20% don't make it.

I don't think it is an age issue. I think the problem is many of the new hires we are getting have been out of the game a while or are changing careers. I can't speak for 175 new hires, but that is one of the reasons for some getting the 145. I have also heard from sim instructors that a few straight-up have bad study habits and attitudes. The school house will work hard for the guys that are putting in the effort and are of good character

Kids today have it so easy. They can sit in their rooms connected to the internet. We used to have to get our mom's to drop us off at the Arcade with a pocket of quarters and then suffer the embarrassment when she would pick us up after her jazzercise class while wearing a leotard.
