United Buying XJT outright does absolutely nothing either. Let’s hope that whatever they come up with (if anything) is beneficial to all pilots involved. It wouldn’t surprise me if there is a consolation of some sort in the works.
And, we don’t even need to discuss what Delta has done. |

This! Remember, Delta once owned ASA and did nothing for us. It became more of a second career landing spot for Delta execs.
They ran train on a once-good company and hosed about 10,000 really good folks. They key to understanding delta is that they kept that name but brought NWA mgmt. They treated all the NW regionals pretty well. At least a whole lot better than they did the delta ones. |

Oh, they did something.

Most folks have been forced to commute to NYC and quite a bit of the MSP flying given to Skywest. I'd say they treated all their regionals pretty poor. |

If you look at the AAL wholly owned, they fly the best routes, get the best pairings, and fly the best aircraft (as far as age and maintenance). Except for Compass, who will lose their Ejet contract with AAL, only AAL wholly owneds fly the Ejet. They have a true flow. Sure, they have a forced upgrade to LGA on the 145. But, they can make it back to their desired base.
