Dirk, except we're not losing 50-80 a month anymore. The attrition has slowed down drastically.

701EV

What are the exact attrition numbers?

Raw numbers have decreased but percentage is probably about the same. If the “announcement” this week is a dud probably see it pick up, then taper off in August as pilots stick around for the October bonus payout.

I heard a lot of the attrition nowadays is people falling off the 6 month LOA. They haven’t been here in a while anyways.

PH, I'm curious who at ASA would argue we did it to ourselves. We did not cost Detal $195 million like Comair did because of the strike.

Phantom was just trolling.

ASA did not deserve this in any manner

Just got word from a friend that Frontier is calling all ASA/Expressjet guys to apply. Apparently the ones who did go made a good impression for this group. Looks like Frontier is growing.

I go off how many are awarded lines/reserve each month. Probably a more accurate assessment of how many pilots we have.
For June, this came out to 428 CRJ pilots between ATL and DFW. Some of those pilots are gone, so I'm going to guess between 390-410 pilots now not including management and instructors.

3 words: Failure To Negotiate.

PH doesn't troll.

Or, perhaps: Failure to Compromise or Failure to Agree. I am not sure that those in position to negotiate would have made any other decisions had they known the eventual outcome.
