However, those of you who are now coming out saying "oh look, I was right all along, all of you people who have left or doubted XJT are fools..."...Please...you sound like a PowerBall winner walking around thinking that you're a financial guru when you were once on the brink of personal bankruptcy and ruin before buying that ticket at a 7-11.
I don’t think anyone was a fool for leaving XJT prior to this announcement..... I’m not sure anyone believes that.

That "newly formed entity" is none other than a clone of the "entity" which runs Commutair. President of Commutair runs it. And heaven knows that place has a reputation as a top notch industry leading great place to work.

Don't get me wrong, getting out from under Skywest is epic good news, but please don't assume the dumpster fire is over,

Different time I realize, but at onetime DAL owned ASA and they did nothing for us. But a few execs that retired from DAL moved over to mismanage ASA. But nice to out from SKYW for sure.

At the very least, it’s a stay of execution.....and that’s a lot more than the Pest has ever offered us.

I’ve been in this relationship long enough to be skeptical of just about anything.

I’m not sure this is the ‘mana’ from heaven people think it is. For me, it makes me consider C5’s operational performance and cost structure and what that might mean for XJT.

Read the Fox Business article. In theory, there have to be strict cost controls to make it work for the interested parties, and to keep sufficient cost pressure on ‘outsourced’ flying.

All the above? My opinion only.

C5 was a tiny airline flying a few dash 8s not too long ago. Getting them to where they are today has been a long, painful road and they still have a ways to go.

IMO, we find ourselves in this position today because C5 didn’t really work out.

That said, we’re still a regional and it’s not going to be all rosy going forward.
