If a reserve pilot within 3.75 hours of MMG is not released, he shall
receive 3.75 hours times the scheduled reserve days in the remainder of
the bid period, or the value of the trips assigned on those days,
whichever is greater.

Depends on if the non used reserve days happen after you hit 71.25 hrs. Contract says once you reach 71.25 hrs you can request to be released for the remainder of the period. They won't release you but then this clause applies:
If a reserve pilot within 3.75 hours of MMG is not released, he shall
receive 3.75 hours times the scheduled reserve days in the remainder of
the bid period, or the value of the trips assigned on those days,
whichever is greater.

I’m approaching my time in the next few months trying to decide where to go. United is my end goal. I have a CJO with republic but looking at Expresjet now to because of the aviate program. Would anyone currently working here recommend it? I hear mixed things about every airline. Just looking for some insight.
Thanks!

It's been good for me, but don't come here just for Aviate. Similarly, don't go to any other airline just for a guaranteed interview. I'm on the 175 and life is great. I don't have experience on the 145, someone else from that side can chime in. Do realize that the 2 aircraft serve slightly different purposes and therefore QOL and schedules will vary across the board. Ex) In 3 months of flying I have yet to fly anything more than 3 legs in a day on the 175. Four leg days do exist, but they are rare.
Thanks!!
