He isn’t breaking it down by aircraft just total numbers. Very few if any new hires will go to the 175. Will be all about the 145 here on out. You get the same pay as an F/O and will get a line upgrade quicker so not a bad thing in the end.

Ha ha. Once this word gets around, that new hire class of 34 will fall to about 20.

Well they should know due to scope there are no more 175’s to be had. Your management decided to give the last 20 to Mesa

What is your point? Your management decided to extend Mesa 175 flying and give them 20 more. Your management could have told Mesa to park the 700’s and give the new 175’s to you but I guess United is done investing

Default Straight up strange

When XJET was owned by INC and gave 175’s to OO there was a big uproar. Now your management decided to give Mesa the 175’s but no uproar what gives?

His point is that it's not 20 more aircraft to Mesa, like you say, but rather an extension of flying they already have. They are replacing aircraft already in service, and extending their contract.

It's not new flying, it's the same flying in new aircraft. Their total number of 70 seaters is not changing from what I understand.

In order to put 175’s on line you have to park 700’s. So in order for XJET to get more 175’s on line who is going to park 700’s? Why didn’t your management give to 20 175’s to you and tell Mesa to park their 700’s? Also there will be no new flying, scope will not be relaxed

Give a scenario how it would be possible for your management to give XJET more 175’s?
