Man you HATE other perspectives. Subodh needs some pointers on how to play nicely with others. You’d save some cash on your little referral campaign if you would stop deterring quality pilots with your “my way or the highway” mentality. Relax chief......there are plenty of other airlines for you to plow through when you are done burning down XJT.
He’s still messing around bankrupting fly by night cargo outfits and running tiny regionals into the ground.

We already have no duty rigs, no trip rigs, 2 hr per day min pay, and no help for commuters. What the hell else could they want from the pilots? Only 10 days off per month to staff all of this flying we don’t have?

Just a positive post to balance out the normal negativity. I am very happy with Expressjet training, I have a great schedule where I can control my line to fly 60-100 hours per month, have holidays off, and am generally happy with the scheduling team, dispatch, maintenance, FAs, and all the captains I fly with. The pay is exactly what I came in expecting and accepted when I was hired. I'm glad I'm here and would come again.
Unexpectedly, the upgrade time has dropped to 1000 hours, which was the only main reason, upgrade was 7 years at the time, I wasn't sure about coming to Expressjet.
Expressjet remains one of the only options to an easy interview, start immediately, few delays if any in training, a great training program, only a few months on reserve, and then great scheduling once you hold a line. Then, upgrade at 1000 hours. Not sure which other regional airline offers all this.

If most people are unhappy here, they are the dumb. The company advertises its work rules, pay, and upgrade time. Why come here knowing you wouldn't like them unless you are a moron, or couldn't get hired anywhere else?
