The Republic model was a) acquire a bunch of airlines, b) go bankrupt, and c) get owned by three majors, no two of which will let the other one use Republic's fleet to its advantage.

Subodh Karnik will be the new Expressjet CEO once the transaction is complete in January 2019. Appointed by ManaAir.

That’s an early indication that ManaAir will be just a holding company.

Subodh frequently, when talking to new hire classes at C5, has said that he hates pilots, criticized them for not doing well enough to give him a bigger bonus, isn't interested in making any QOL improvements and said that of they dont like it they can leave. Good luck.
