Wasn't sure if the 5.5 hours was for breaks during the day or if that covers the overnight as well.
I haven’t seen a 2,3,4-day trip with a scheduled overnight in the base. It would just be separate trips.

If your trip ends up with a cancel in base the company will provide a hotel for the crew even if it’s your domicile. Had this happen several times.

The day room (5.5 hour scheduled break) has only happened to me while I was on reserve. It happened after I finished a leg and they reassigned me to operate another leg 5.5hrs later. Usually they already had a room reserved for me.

Thanks for the contract link. I was hoping it had more details about stipulations on the bonus.

Question, with the new CRJ550 becoming a new 50 seat product, should we expect to see these begin to replace the 145s in the future?

Distant future. Existing airframes necessary for the conversion. It'll take time to fire up production of the airframe for new A/C. Assuming it's a hit.

From what I understand, this is not a new airframe. Just a refurbed 700.

It’s not a new product. It’s taking 700s and re configuring the cabin to 50 seats. They’re not using new planes but the articles written make it look like a new airframe. Our company memo said they’re reconfiguring our current frames. Also it’s not something that makes sense to simply replace the 145s it’ll only be cost effective on certain routes imo. The reason this happened is because the 175s coming here put UAL over scope. Even the internal announcements said that as each XJT175 comes online that one of the G7 700s must come off for scope. This is literally just the use of a loophole to keep those planes in the air without busting scope

You legally can’t have less than a 10 hour layover, 8 hours “behind a door”.

There’s no such thing as a scheduled layover in your own domicile. It won’t happen, unless there’s something abnormal like a weather cancelation and then they buy you a hotel if you want.

Rare, but it happens. I had some scheduled overnights in LGA. They may have done it there due to the large number of commuters.

Can someone please post the date of hire of the junior FO in each base, along with the date of hire of the junior line holder FO in each base?
