Most of the loss is CA and now FO’s via the CPP. Not many FO’s are leaving to make the lateral move to another regional.

Joe Merchant is one of the most bitter LASA pilots you will ever meet.

As a general rule, I never trust extreme opinions. Either those talking only *******, or the guys that only see positive things. I need a contrast, because there are always pros/cons

People are leaving because moral is WORSE than before United purchased us. No way that many people left via CPP. Maybe half that number at most.

United has chosen to not work with the union or put fourth any legitimate reasons to actually keep people here. Their main goal is to bring as much new blood in at the cheapest rate possible. It also appears they are not hiring United airlines material so forget a flow.

So, you're saying if United is your goal. Then don't go XJT, C5 or any of the other regionals with a CPP?

You do understand that UA doesn’t own us ManaAir is our new boss. It’s also just not UA trying to bring in cheap labor to the regionals. In the past years the cost to outsource has risen drastically cutting into their bottom lines.

Isn't Mana Air, really United?

Guys,

Expressjet has a GREAT sick call policy. It’s the CPP rules that suck. And those are set by UNITED.

Just another C5 in the making, IMO. Some larger planes which aren’t owned by anyone but UA.

It’s virtually the same process from what I can tell, *and* you’re scrutinized in ways an off-the-street hire wouldn’t, and legally could not be.
