Have a look at the CBA. Or the list attached to that email.

A category freeze is in effect for those switching aircraft. There is no freeze for a CRJ FO upgrading to CRJ CA.

Talking about two different things I think. Equipment freeze versus seat. All upgraded FOs going to CRJ are frozen to the CRJ and can’t bid any ERJ seat. Limits one to ORD for the most part. I guess there is supposed to be a small IAH CRJ vase now. We shall see.

Have you read the contract or contacted ALPA? My guess is no because you are incorrect.

There simplest way it was explained to me is you can change equipment if upgrading to Captain regardless of a freeze list. Is this correct?

Again this guy. You seriously need a life. You know there’s much more to life than cruising around forums telling people they are incorrect. Whatever makes you feel good I suppose.

The problem is the pay protected FOs are being forced to upgrade on the 200 and then will be locked out of going to the 145. The screwing continues of the LASA side.

“Forced to upgrade?” They bid for it, and it was awarded.

They were captains that weren’t allowed to exercise their seniority system wide when displaced. They have to bid all captain positions to keep their captain pay and very few 145 positions are being awarded.

But Joe they weren’t displaced. Their company/contract ceased to exsist. They have NO displacement rights to the E145
