[QUOTE=afterburn81;2753684]Per the company. Also, see the award versus the freeze list.

Both afterburner and John are incorrect. ALL the 200 upgrades were not on the seat lock list. It’s easily cross referenced from internal communications.

For the OP. Folks are hesitantly optimistic on the line. If you are up for a gamble and EV has a base you prefer it could end up heaven or hell. Fifteen years ago ASA and ExpressJet/COEX were near the top, hopefully this airline can re emerge from a long slow drag across the bottom.

Keith, nobody “sued for a position at Delta”. When you want to have a discussion regarding the difference between the PID filed by the ASA and CMR MECs in accordance with ALPA policy and the separate RJDC DFR lawsuit, let me know.

I have been following. It is a gamble. Seriously at this point if the upgrade time is not an issue your contract and pilot group seems to be on par with E9. On one hand there really is nothing for me to lose at this point, but on the other hand if I get stuck (I will give it about two years, or 1250 hrs before I decide if I am stuck or not) that means I am looking to get into other regionals as DEC. (I assume worst case scenario where for some reasons the majors are not biting)

I really don't like the idea of doing this whole DEC thing. Learning a new aircraft, new procedures and doing good enough to take command of the aircraft from the get go, seems to be a little bit of a tall order. I don't want to play too fast and loose with my career.
