Not all hotels have a breakfast. I’ve been at Haytt no free breakfast. Haytt is good hotel, but isn’t location for long stay especially if you have no car. In walk distance only McDonalds. Sheraton has free breakfast, I don’t know about Best Western.

Training in IAH is definitely lacking on food options close by both the training center and hotels on JFK. I can't imagine going through initial without a car. There's literally no where to eat within walking distance of the training center. One would have to buy groceries and bring their lunch.

The food is the only good thing about that overnight.

Next to the Sheraton and BW, there's a few decent places: Gumbo Jeaux's (cajun), Al Wadi (middle eastern), Papa Tony's pizza, and don't forget Hoot County
The restaurant in the Sheraton (Drifter's they call it) is also actually good. I recommend the chicken bacon avocado wrap.
Am I too much of a food nerd?
