Nothing like this vomit XJT MEC posted. |

This MEC understands the art of leverage for once. Expose some truths to drive pilots away and keep new hire numbers low and you have some real bargaining power. The deal was signed and sent out for a membership vote with a clear understanding they would come back to the table shortly after the spinoff, they did not. Letter 2. It’s as simple as that, black and white. United posted a $1.1 BILLION dollar profit in Q2 alone. It’s time to say FUPM. Keep up the good work XJT MEC.

Easy to say for a senior pilot. You have nothing to lose when new hires stop coming. For junior pilots when the hiring stops we get stuck. The tactic favors one part of the pilot group at the expense of another. Poor leadership and very unprofessional.
When did “professionalism” become synonymous with bending over and taking it from management? |

Telling the truth about what's actually happening to the pilots out on the line is poor leadership and unprofessional? It's actually the exact opposite. You'd rather keep prospective pilots in the dark as long as it keeps them coming to Xjt so you "don't get stuck". At least you admit your motives though. Keep painting that rosy picture Baghdad Bob.

Going on record as painting things in the worst possible light in an attempt to keep new hires away. Several things in the email are intentionally misleading. Not professional. Again who signed the contract and how long ago was that?Poor leadership. Unprofessional tactics.
Unprofessional tactics? This union/company relations in aviation are a barroom brawl, not a fencing tournament. And management has a very large friend in the corner in the form of the RLA. Hit when you can as hard as you can. |
