EV and C5 will eventually be one airline. ZW might also get swallowed up. Also, TSH will probably merge all certificates. Or Mana could buy them too. UAX is such a **** show right now that it’s tough to predict, but if I had to guess it’d look like:

1) OO
2) EV/C5/ZW
3) G7/AX

And then I’d guess either YX or YV for the 4th.

I think that’s a safe bet, minus YV...could be wrong though....ZW though, def a good group of Pilots but would United really want those 200s that are busting all the time....just take the Pilots?

Half our class got the 145. If I had that crystal ball about fleet projection and exact timing, I’d be rich lol. It will be interesting to see what happens down the road with consolidation.

I think #3 is a bit of an experiment. The 550s are a bit of a stop gap for 3-5 years. After that they are out of the picture

It will be interesting to see when they actually get the “full blessing” from the feds. Between that and the MAX debacle, the FAA has their hands full.

At C5 the most jr DEC line holder was hired in February, basically 3 months of reserve. All DEC’s are going to EWR, IAD jr CA is 8/18. We’re offering 50k sign on bonuses for all DEC’s you get it in whole the Friday before you start indoc. Prorated at 25k a year. I’m an ex EV’r and like it a lot over here, it’s more of a family operation. Any questions pm me

If you break up the bonus over two years and add it into your hourly rate it’d be around $94hr year 1 and $96hr year 2. That’s how I looked at it

Best-

Well he has a point. For someone near IAD or EWR, getting a line as a captain at Commutair is pretty quick. Training would be easy as pie. Pay increase, PIC time, lineholder. On their way to a major much quicker.

With the C5 referral bonus now upped to 10K I'm sure they're posting that stuff even on bathrooms

Captain upgrades at XJT are down to 3 years. I don’t think that recruiting strategy is going to work anymore.
