I haven't received one cent of that EQO nonsense. But then again, I don't work a lot. And if you leave the airline even a day before the quarterly payout, you get ZILCH, NADA, BUPKIS, ZERO.

You dont work a lot and its predicated on averaging 70hrs per month for the quarter. Its only nonsense because you dont want to fly often? Makes zero sense to anyone trying to get time and move on.

What's with all the negativity on this forum? I mean I understand the frustration by some because of upgrade times, the way the pay is and the contract. But, you guys are encouraged to fly and then get paid EQO. I think that brings you to about $50 an hour. Does anyone have actual upgrade times for both planes and all bases? If the 175 is still too new then no biggie. How much do you fly on reserve? If its different per base please chime in with the base youre at.

Also, I would think you would want more people to come to this company to build up reserve so United gives you more planes and routes. I doubt United wants to give 175s to another company if you can staff them since they own 49.9% of you through Mana.

You have some very bitter pilots who have been passed over and don’t like working here. As far as upgrade times we are going to have a new system bid very soon in which times will come down a lot. The Union and the Company are currently negotiating a new contract. Tons of Aviate interviews are going on right now to get onto the FIFO list to United. All in all it’s a great time to be here. I think that will be very obvious early next year. Get in now ahead of the wave.

Dec 5th class date as of now, already a 175 type at compass, so I am on my way once I collect the last part of my bonus :D

If they have needs on the 175 at that time you will definitely be the first in your class to get it. Unfortunately they don’t always have that need. There will inevitably be some training casualties that will open up a spot or two. We may even find out where the next batch is going by then.

It’s a little slow right now on the 175 because there are a bunch of brand new planes sitting waiting non GoJet 700s to come off line. Obviously this is out of the ordinary. We are understaffed, especially on the 145. There is plenty of flying.

Mesa 700’s coming off line? They think they’re getting them on their boards. Would be good for recruiting if they could announce them for us...

Thanks!

As 700s come offline I think that allows XJT to gets more 175s and might have to do with scope or something along those lines. Hopefully XJT get another 20-25 next year. Seems like recruiting is going well, I had 4 interview with me and the next training class had 25ppl in it.
