So we have 175s parked on the ground waiting for Mesa 175s, also owned by United, to be parked. Makes sense.

Lol Its gojet, they are the only ones right now that are transitioning crj700s to 550s. Which, will open up 70-76 seat spots for the 175s XJT has and will receive.

Mesa has 700's as well for United that have come off contract. Maybe it's that in which he refers to?

No idea then. Either way, United has big decisions to make and a lot of it hinges on how well these new 550's perform for them.

Mesa has 700's and 175's both coming off contract now or very soon. Things can happen very fast for them. United will wait as long as possible to announce something as it causes people to jump ship right away.

Well lets just hope hiring here at XJT keeps going. Thats my point of keeping the forum positive, we all know every regional has their issues. But, a solid pilot group will bring more pilots and planes. When I went to compass, the attitude of the pilots played a huge part. I rolled the dice with them and had a great time doing it. no regherts!

Indeed! Hopefully more of your Compass friends will hop over. Would love to have them here. Great pilot group!
