I agree. A lot of people want to argue about this and that but United has a plan but its a moving target based on how certain things shake out in the next few months. I would say its just shy of guaranteed that ExpressJet will be all E175s by 2023ish.
If commutair is getting all the 145’s then why is ExpressJet putting in another 145 sim in IAH?

Who knows the transition may take a few years or may not happen at all. Could hint towards a merger between the two eventually. May only be temporary since the SIM being installed is an old one apparently.

One thing you can be sure of is in the next two years the “UnitedExpress” brand will look vastly different than today.

A quick look at a map will inform you that DEN is not anywhere near the "west coast".

Paid2fly, you're correct.

But the west coast cities are under 800 miles from Den.

You can also then hop across to SFO and LAX.

So now you have west coast flying.

This thread went from "what about our contract" to "oooh look shiny jets" pretty quick.

Except the next 25 go to OO per the contracts.

Since we are splitting hairs, Denver, obviously is not “on” the west coast but to say it isn’t anywhere near the west coast simply isn’t true either.

There are always loop holes in these so called contracts. If United wants them at XJT they will go to XJT. How easily people forget who is actually running the show.

Do tell. What is the loop hole you speak of?
