LoL, yep add about 200 new hires to the “disgruntled” list. Many came here to fly at a growing airline with things happening.

Our hiring came to a trickle after we lost the last batch of 175’s. With all the training of pilots from the 175 back to the 145 I’m sure we’ll be able to staff those here on out...

This isn’t a “airlines change fleets all the time” kinda thing. The planes aren’t even all on line yet. It hasn’t even been a year since starting service (June 15th).

This is terrible news for our pilots flying that plane and our airline going forward;(

Well I certainly didn’t expect that news...yikes

SkyWest once again, from the beyond, affecting our collective future..

“Where do they come up with this stuff”

Seems JB was warning us. There’s more to come too...

EWR still closing.

I mean, it’s still a net increase in aircraft and looks like a new base. So not all terrible news. Just crazy to think how much the company spent training people on the 175 in past year or so

technically, the airline is growing by a few dozen E-145s, and adding a Denver base.

Why would someone come to Expressjet if they wanted to fly E-175s? That would be dumb, go to Republic or Skywest instead.

Not growing. We’ve been contracted to fly 120+ 145’s for ages now. They couldn’t attract enough talent to fill those seats so the fleet just dwindled down. This isn’t new flying.

Nobody can really spin this into a positive other than the Denver base.

EWR and ORD are rumored to close as well. That’ll come in a later e-mail.
