This is all too new for an accurate answer. However, additional airframes means the need for additional crews. The company increased the DEC bonus to the maximum allowed by the CBA $40,000. Actually those orders became firm only one week after the announcement last June. Embraer has 39 outstanding FIRM E175s Owed to United as of last September. Haven't checked it since then.
United ordered 20 +19 options. Those options can only be delivered if Skywest has their 19 CRJ7’s converted to CRJ5’s as those are the last CRJ7 aircraft in the UAX fleet. Mesa’s announcement for 20 175’s was them taking over the financing obligation from United for the 20 175’s United ordered. |
