I'm not trying to be an ass but how are you senior enough to hold left seat er7 and not know how to read a system bid packet? The first page is a summary of current staffing levels on each frame/seat and base. The second page is what they need to fill
The 175 are not winding down till the end of the year. Plus you are seat locked so you are not leaving the 175 till they want you to. Bid what you want to hold in the order you would want to hold it. |

Your missing one huge point...
Expressjet was Still taking deliveries of planes last year... In April they took delivery of 1 175 and then they took delivery of 3 175’s per month through the end of December. September 31st, 29 firm orders... 20 for Mesa and the remaining 9 175’s For Expressjet. The order was made in middle of June, so excluding June, Expressjet still had 18 jets remaining to be delivered through 2019. That report likely was made after the first two June deliveries were made and one remained, which gives you 19 aircraft... 19+20=39... Again, the 19 options United ordered HAVE NOT been exercised. I'm just telling you what I found on Embraer's website. Don't take my word for it though. Look it up. Also, according to the Mesa press release, the Mesa planes are being purchased by Mesa so that's a separate order for what it's worth. Of course those things have been wrong before... |
There are 19 more orders to be announced next year. They’ll be awarded to SkyWest to replace the 700’s in DEN.
The XJT 175’s are all gone and we will be an all 145 carrier again. FILLER. |

wrong. Unless they change the rules, get better performance the 700’s are here to stay for the Aspen service. The 175 doesn’t have the OEI performance required for Aspen

What’s the airport gonna do? Blast out the mountains on both ends of the runway? The EJET is WAY too underpowered. It’s the CRJ engine on a much fatter airframe. It would be ridiculously weight restricted. I fly the EJET, and would be nervous taking this plane into ASE. I’ve been there numerous times in a Citation. It’s one way in, one way out. Not to mention the steep approach angle.
