A new wing? I haven’t been there to see anything new but this guy who is an instructor said that he heard there is another sim coming to the United training center. Maybe United will utilize the sims for other carriers. I know there is a 145 sim coming to the XJT building

correct a new wing. I think it’s the G wing or something. Opened a couple of months ago. We moved in Max/787 sims. It’s my understanding that all the sim bays are filled but I am just a line puke

The only thing open on this bid was 20 Captain spots in IAH on the 145 |

“Effective 12/1/20”. It makes no sense that they still want 225 total pilots on the 175 by that date. That’s only a drop of 25 from the previous bid. All but a few of the tails should be gone by then, unless the transition is going to take a lot longer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

ok..I was expecting to see the 175 gone off the list. I’m left seat on it and wondering how to bid due to the news. I think I’m locked on it till September but not sure. Houston is my base and would like to stay here
I'm not trying to be an ass but how are you senior enough to hold left seat er7 and not know how to read a system bid packet? The first page is a summary of current staffing levels on each frame/seat and base. The second page is what they need to fill The 175 are not winding down till the end of the year. Plus you are seat locked so you are not leaving the 175 till they want you to. Bid what you want to hold in the order you would want to hold it. |
