So didn’t the email say they are going to take down the April bid? Yet AdOpt still shows it is open with a due date in two days for captains.

50 percent reduction at United. Expressjet is going to take a hard hit I'm afraid.

If you’re on the 757 your plane is going to be parked. The whole industry is taking it in the shorts right now. Airlines can’t afford to be still when they’re liabilities are in the billions.

Tough times.

You are right about the entire industry being hit hard. My guess is that the 50% cut will be fairly evenly distributed to anyone flying a plane that says United on the side. My commute is all rj’s, and they’re over half empty. It’s going to be ugly. United has some older planes like the 756 fleet that seem to be prime targets to be parked, or even retired if this goes on for a long time. Watching the regionals will be interesting. This time around there are a bunch of 70/76 seat jets in the fleet. The 50 seat jets are now getting pretty old. Will they suddenly look better, or will the legacies find that they no longer make sense? Will the planes that TSA were flying transfer to you guys, or sit for a while? I guess we’ll all find out in the next couple of months.

your last sentence is spot on. Anyone that says they know what our industry is going to look like in 6 months is full of S
