This is why EV is probably going to win this one if UAL is serious about chopping an airline. |

XJT has already been chosen as the survivor.
United wouldn't have asked for concessions from XJT to match C5 if they didn't want XJT. Think about it. If it TRULY was all based on costs, United would just shut down XJT and grow C5 when needed. This is what is happening - United is using C5 as a pawn to get XJT to take concessions. Once this occurs, C5 will shut down (as already planned). Regardless crappy position for both airlines. |

United had to dump them somewhere and you were it. Also, the start of the end was losing your 175s to MESA. |

Just showing the other side, but couldn’t United have already basically chosen C5 and the only option XJT has is to take concessions and try to match it?

And why didn't C5 get both? Because C5 can't grow fast enough. UAL has been trying to grow C5 for how long... a few years now? C5 has grown slowly, but there's only so quickly that an airline run on a whiteboard can grow. That's Champlain's fault, not the pilots' fault.

People didn’t want to go to Commutair and it didn’t grow because in the age of “1500 hours and go to your choice of regional” they couldn’t compete. There’s already 1000+ unemployed 121 pilots right now. Attracting new hires will not be an issue. |

C5 couldn't grow because it's pay was crap and pilots were scarce. That problem has been fixed now.

you are literally the dumbest person to post on this forum and that’s saying a lot. ExpressJet was growing Pre-Covid and C5 took the old XR’s to open 175’s for XJT, when they left, XJT was given a DEN base and more block hours, C5 wasn’t. Even now the August schedule is increasing for XJT and C5 flying has now been reduced by 10 daily departures as ZW moves back into IAD which is the ONLY base C5 operates out of. There has been an addition to XJT flying, not a reduction. Lol you are dumber than sh**... anything can happen but you don’t know anything about this business.
Check the C5 departures from IAD again. Then ask someone how United gave most of C5s flying to ZW for August because United scheduled C5 a ton of flying from EWR which NJ and NY governor pulled the pin last minute. I think it's you who don't know stuff. Good luck tomorrow. |

This statement has so many holes in it I won't bother fully replying.
