Jen is still the best. She is so great with her personality and her "hey you" when she sees everyone, it always makes my day. One of the people that I never lost contact with and I always make sure I stop in to say hi on my way through.
I laughed my *** off reading what you guys did.

If anyone has a good job for her, I am sure she could use your help. I am working on something for her as well.
If anyone wants to meet her, she is across from the IAH XJT chief pilots office if she isn't chasing down some poor pilot for a drug test or reassignment.

From: 7ER B...whatever that means.
I'll never forget her catching up to me mid stride in the airport to grab me off a deadhead home and roll my day off to send me to an overnight. My wife had called earlier in the day and was really sick and needed me home. I had seen the reroute on ACARS and already knew how I was gonna play it when I saw her. I was ready for a fight when I told her as we walked what the deal was and that I was not accepting the assignment and was gonna get on my flight home. She just winks and says "I understand. I never saw you" I asked "Are you sure? I'll talk to whoever I need to talk to. I don't want you getting in trouble." And she just as sweet as could be says "Go home. I'll tell them you got away. We got a guy sitting ARC anyway. I don't know why they wanted you." Last conversation I ever had with her.

Not totally accurate. Took off runway 1 at DCA, expected a vector heading because the prior aircraft got the unusual right turn to a heading of 090 which happens to people “in the know” who ask for it, if you’re headed to the southeast. Our crew didn’t get a heading of course, so they flew straight ahead, busting the prohibited. Turned to exit the prohibited and nailed the VP prohibited one also to the NW. So technically it was only a double penetration. Got hired by Alaska after that and I believe fired from them too for skipping on ARC, but that last part is rumor.
Going from memory on the ASAP, as well as a clarification that came out later with a diagram with the times and flight path, etc;
As mentioned above, they expected a heading, why? No clue.......
Took off, right at P-56A, of course getting the controller’s attention, and the controller giving basically a “turn left, turn left NOW!!!!” However, by the time that all transpired and the crew started complying, they were accelerating and climbing past A, the controller THEN said something along the lines of “disregard, keep heading north”
So they turned left, as instructed, THEN right as instructed. The controller pretty much led them into the B bust.
Unconfirmed, climbing/accelerating is the only thing that stopped defensive measures from being taken.
Unconfirmed, had a class date at CAL, date pulled/job offer rescinded.
CONFIRMED, hired at AS and another carrier, took AS, and “let go” for the reasons mentioned. Now at AA.

I believe she ended up getting a medical issue that wouldn’t allow her to work on the ramp anymore, so she was able to become a CS/ gate agent. She was extremely nice, she’d take a picture and put it in your V-file.

When I was a brand new FO she gave me a gorgeous picture of an XR taxiing on the ramp after a thunderstorm. My wife ended up framing it and now it resides on my shelf of airline memorabilia.

I believe the reason the aircraft ahead of them got the right turn was because it was a -8, with the slower speed they were allowed a right turn per a DCA SOP.
Meh, sort of.......
