Default ExpressJet UAL Contract Extended?

Very reliable sources say XJT has extended it's UAL contract by two years. Anyone know details, ie fleet type/size?

That's how most everyone feels when it comes to these rumors ... no matter how reliable the source

The source was an official communication from leadership (which is not prone to rumor-mongering).

Just saying ... in this industry, I have a hard time believing anything until I see it for myself. But, to be a team player ... I hope they get good news

I do not have any sources but I have been hearing this all day, does not mean it is true.

Seems more like 10 planes for 2 years with possible a/c additions if UAL and XJT agree to it down the line. Hopefully charter does well enough that they need the other 20 non-COEX a/c for 100% charter ops........

Not official yet so lets not assume its true.

It's not stealing when the work is going to the highest paid 50 seat pilots in the market... if it's being outsourced to cheaper and cheaper labor this isn't good of course, but its nice to see a course reversal.

It's gotta be a false rumor.
