How do you like that Known Crewmember program?

I don't know because they didn't choose my airport...

Also wasn't it supposed to be updated/expanded after 90 days?

Can anyone say crewpass II?

Thanks ALPA.

If you are not prepared to substantiate your claims then at least be prepared to be called out on them.

It's a free forum, I don't have any accountability to you or anyone else on this site provided I don't violate the TOS. Whether you like it or not it still happened, but I honestly don't give a **** if you believe me or not. The bigger picture is that if we do it right, we'll keep the two sides separate just long enough to negotiate a good contract for both sides, which will get rid of pbs and other shortcomings.

I'll tell you what, you post your identity and employee number, and I'll consider telling you which meeting I was at.

Maybe yamaha hasn't worked under alpa but I have...I've seen it at it's worst so you can't fool me or the other thousand or so who have BTDT. I would actually like some sort of union at SKW (and one list) but you're not helping any...
I'll second this. Our "student council", while not having the legal teeth of a union or a binding agreement, most definitely does not bend over at management's whims. I know several of our past and current SAPA reps and they most definitely are not management stooges or KoolAid drinkers. To some extent, Chip takes SAPA seriously because if he doesn't, it would only fan the flames of unionization. In addition, most reps I know of have been active union supporters, and some of them had been involved with bringing ALPA to SkyWest. They're really doing the best they can.

I too would like one list, as native SkyWest people would hate to see EMB-145s flying in SFO just as much as native ExpressJet people probably hate seeing our CRJ-700s in IAH. It would be nice to not worry about which plane UAL is going to shuffle where and when. I too would like a union. Doesn't have to be ALPA, but I did vote in favor of ALPA the last time.

Uneducated, uninformed, or otherwise cavalier SkyWest pilots see comments like goaround's and are instantly turned off by the idea of a single list or any union representation, which I think would ultimately be good for all of us.

Do you like TCAS? If so, thank the unions. Uncle Jerry would not spend that dime unless he HAD to.

As an XJT guy I would like one list with our own independant union. This is not a slam at ALPA, as they have done a good service (for the most part), I just think the largest regional feed would be better with an independent union.

In a dream world every airline would have their own independent union, then be able to work/meet together.

Really? You're going to base your decision to improve your life on anonymous posts? You guys are really institutionalized. Consider this:

Because you don't have a legal bargaining entity representing you or a contract, you guys have subpar medical benefits, no legal recourse on pay or work rule violations, no punitive protection from incidents or accidents (only certificate), forget the list, get with the times first, get a union any union. We talk when you guys get your house in order.

Call it what you want. It's unfortunate that you never-ever been able to use it....
(I think you have used, at some airport, and liked it)

Nope. Based in DTW. Don't get to go to any of those cities... And I haven't had a MSP overnight in a LONG time.
