ExpressJet and United Airlines

United wants it at less than 100 50 seaters by 2018 to 19. Anyplace flying United 50 seaters is a deadend.

And I want a pony. I wouldn't place all my chips on a bet on what WILL happen in the next five years. UAL's MO is to formulate a plan, change the plan, change the plan again, check out what Delta is doing, change the plan...
Also, doesn't anyone else see a problem with the fact that the average period of economic expansion (as in "NOT recession") is seven years before a correction/downturn, and we're just about at the end of that? So, American and Delta and United will all be scheduled to take BIG ORDER deliveries right about the time the economy hits the poopfan?
Go where it makes the most sense to you, but be prepared and save some money in case you don't get to upgrade in 2 years and get your shiny legacy wings in 3. Just sayin'.

And if there is a downturn then that would be even worse for 50 seaters.

Because that is what he does. He has created 7 threads in the last 24 hours and hasn't even started flight training and most likely doesn't have a single flight hour. He is wasting everybody's time asking questions about things that won't even be valid in two years (best case scenario) when he would actually be hireable by a regional.
