But why would they let us go so we can be reinvigorated start hireing more pilots block out any chance OO gets more 175 flying from UAL. No they let the hemorrhage of pilots continue write off the loss to an unproductive asset then wait to sign a more lucrative CPA with their 175s staffed with .., well I've been warned about certain language. The bonuses from delta the rumor of a buy is from uninted all to keep from having to concede and do more business with stINC. Maybe I'm giving too much credit but I really believe they are playing a lot further down the board than rank and file thinks.

Because United says “do this or you’ll never get another additional 175 block hour, and no more contract extensions at the end.” They have ways of getting what they want from their vendors.

It's only $3500, unless you were on the active seniority list on the date LOA 12 was ratified- 2/17/2016. If you were, then you get the additional $1500, which is considered a profit share.
Xjt is great at f'ng over pilots in the fine print!

Edit: Almost forgot the 36% tax rate on bonuses. $3500 - 36%= $2240.00

I was under the impression that Wells Fargo owned the planes, and UAL just leases them.

That adds something some additional drama will if you think about it UAL still paying the tab on parked unprofitable planes. Whos got influence over who? Skywest or Uninted? It's whoever stands too lose more money, is my guess. I don't think UAL says jump and the "vendor askes how high?" As simply as another poster pointed out to me. I hold my line that theirs is a game of chess going on that none of us pawns are even close to privi to but we lose. Especially since most don't look beyond the checkers mentality that I think ALPA has been playing.

Yup. Do this, or they’ll shift flying to republic.

I believe you are correct again, sir. All we can do is GTFO, leaving stInc and UAL to their urinary Olympics.

I hope any potential new hire reading this forum has a clear understanding....

DO NOT COME TO EXPRESSJET

With the other options out there. You would have to be crazy to come here or any United Express regional in this environment.

Company email out. I will not post it due to company policies, but basically there is a pilot conference call Monday, 1800 EST. DO, COO and both MEC chairmen, LXJT and LASA.

Standard quarterly conference call. Come with every day questions cause there will be no big announcement coming from it. Every time we hammer management and the union guys with what's coming or whether they are they going to fix this-n-that in the contract. I think what it is intended for is more like "hey, the ACARS still crashes loading aerodata crap... is there a fix coming?" Be ready to share your most gastly de-ice stories using the new guidance...
